Needed: Director of Communications for VCPWN Board

VCPWN needs a Director of Communications for the next board year of June 2015 through May 2016.  The Director of Communications is responsible for preparing and submitting news releases to newspapers and other publications about upcoming meetings, events and speakers; prepare e-blasts to announce meetings and other events; prepare newsletter and e-blast them to members and non-members; post meetings and other VCPWN related events on VCPWN Facebook page.  Also attend monthly board meetings to report status of communications submitted.

The Poinsettia Pavilion is one of Ventura's greatest event venues. Our scheduled July speaker fell ill with the flu and Sheila Lowe substituted with a program on Graphotherapy--handwriting exercises to help remove blocks to success. Attendees participated in creating "form drawings" done to Baroque music, to which affirmations are added that help anchor new ideas in the brain and lead to better habits.
