As you may know, I am participating in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer on Sept. 11 & 12, 2010 in Santa Barbara. I will be walking 39.3 miles over those two days.

I understand that times are tough right now for all of us and rather than ask for a cash donation, I would like to ask for donations to my garage sale on Feb 20th, weather permitting.

If you have anything that you might want to donate for the garage sale please let me know. It would be greatly appreciated!

You can call me and let me know what you have and when you would like to drop it off.

The minutes of our January meeting are now posted on this site. All members are welcome to read them and to attend meetings, which are held on the third Thursday of each month except December. Contact a leadership team member for the address.

I have decided to take on the challenge and am participating in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. It is a 39.9 mile walk over 2 days.

Did you know that every three minutes, another woman in the United States is diagnosed with breast cancer? I didn't, and I was shocked to learn how prevalent this horrible disease has become in this country.

I would like to wish everyone Happy Holidays and Happy New Year.

Where ever you are going or whatever you are doing to celebrate this loving season, cherish every moment.
