**Membership Subscription Agreement**
This Membership Subscription Agreement (the "Agreement") is made between Ventura County Professional Women's Network ("VCPWN") and the undersigned member ("Member"). By subscribing to an annual membership with VCPWN, the Member agrees to the terms and conditions outlined below.
1. Membership Term
- The membership term is for one (1) year from the date of enrollment and will automatically renew annually unless canceled in accordance with the cancellation policy outlined in Section 3.
2. Membership Benefits
- Members will receive access to the benefits and resources associated with their chosen membership level as outlined on the VCPWN website or provided at the time of enrollment.
3. Cancellation Policy
- Members may cancel their annual membership by providing written notice to VCPWN at least ten (10) days prior to the next billing cycle.
- Cancellation requests must be sent via email to VCPWNtreasurer@gmail.com.
- If the cancellation request is not received at least ten (10) days prior to the next billing cycle, the membership will renew for the following year, and no refunds will be issued.
- For "Empower" memberships, Members may cancel prior to the end of their annual period. However, a minimum fee of $130, plus $40 for each month since the inception of the membership is required. If this amount has yet to be collected, it will be charged on the regular billing date.
4. Payment Terms
- The Member authorizes VCPWN to charge the annual membership fee to the payment method provided during enrollment.
- Membership fees are non-refundable once charged, except in cases of documented billing errors.
5. Member Responsibilities
- Members agree to abide by the policies and guidelines of VCPWN as may be updated from time to time.
- Memberships are non-transferable and may not be shared with non-members.
6. Changes to Membership Terms
- VCPWN reserves the right to update the terms of this Agreement, including changes to membership benefits and fees. Members will be notified of any significant changes at least thirty (30) days prior to their implementation.

By enrolling in an annual membership, the Member acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
VCPWN Event Ticket & Communications Policy
Effective date: November 1, 2025
1) Ticket Sales, Refunds & Transfers

All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.

If you can’t attend, you may transfer your ticket to another person at no charge.
Email VCPWN President with the new attendee’s full name and email at least 24 hours before the event.
2) Event Changes or Cancellations

If an event is rescheduled, your ticket will automatically apply to the new date.

If an event is cancelled, we’ll notify all registered guests by email with next steps.
3) Email Communications & Mailing List

Transactional emails (required): By registering or purchasing a ticket, you will receive essential emails about your order and the event (confirmations, reminders, updates, schedule/venue changes).

Marketing emails (automatic subscription with opt-out): By purchasing a ticket or registering for an event, you will be subscribed to VCPWN’s email list to receive newsletters, event invitations, and announcements. You may unsubscribe at any time using the Unsubscribe link in any email or by emailing the VCPWN President with the subject “Unsubscribe.”

We respect your preferences and process unsubscribe requests promptly.
4) Privacy
We use your information to process tickets, manage events, and (unless you unsubscribe) send VCPWN updates. We do not sell your personal information. See our full Privacy Notice.
5) Photography & Media
Events may be photographed/recorded for VCPWN marketing and documentation. By attending, you grant VCPWN the right to use your image and likeness. If you prefer not to be photographed, please inform a board member at check-in.
6) Accessibility & Accommodations
We’re committed to accessible events. For accommodations, please email VCPWN President at least 72 hours before the event.
7) Code of Conduct
VCPWN maintains a welcoming, respectful environment. Harassment, discrimination, and disruptive behavior are not permitted. We reserve the right to refuse or revoke admission for violations.
