JOIN US ON THURSDAY MARCH 8, 5:30 PM AT THE OXNARD MARRIOTT COURTYARD!!
VCPWN welcomes Sue Osborn who will be teaching us Financial Literacy! Financial literacy means being able to live a desired lifestyle and achieve one’s goals. It’s a basic idea, but not necessarily an easy one, without some understanding about how money works and how to make it work for you. Our parents, or grandparents lived through the Great Depression and learned how to squeeze every bit out of every penny. Today’s adults lived through the recent Great Recession and still don’t have a comfortable knowledge of personal financial planning. Sue will take you through an exploration of what financial literacy is and how much it’s needed. And she’ll share plans for introducing financial education to our community.
