That's Showbiz...

A few weeks ago, I was interviewed by Dateline NBC in the Clark Rockefeller case, but if you blinked, you might have missed it. I knew the 30 minutes or so interview would be cut down, but I never expected it to end up being about 90 seconds! The day before the episode aired, they were able to interview some of the jurors, so most of my part was cut. Oh well.
I've posted the slides I made for the show, which we discussed during the interview: http://sheilalowe.com/documents/rockefeller.pdf
This illustrates my comparison of the handwriting of Linda Sohus, who was Rockefeller's landlord in the mid 1980's. She and her husband disappeared and a few weeks later, friends received postcards from Paris, signed by Linda. She was never seen again, but about 8 years later, human remains were found on the grounds of their San Marino home; remains that were male and presumed to be those of her husband, John. Blood was also found in the guest house where Rockefeller had stayed.
I was asked by the Pasadena Star newspaper and Dateline to compare the handwriting on the postcards to some true, known handwriting of Linda Sohus. The slides are the result of my examination. I believe the handwriting on the postcards is genuine. Let me know whether I've convinced you.
