The Artful Organizer sponsors August 9th meeting

Shirley Jones, The Artful Organizer is sponsoring our VCPWN meeting on August 9th.As a Professional Organizer, I often heard my clients saying,"I'm going to keep that .... because I can sell it and make money." I realized that they were saving too many things and that they would never get around to selling anything. So, to be efficient in the clean up process and keep my clients happy, I agreed to open an eBay store to sell their "treasures".This little idea became a full time (actually more than full time!) job. We have listed and sold all manner of things on eBay for my clients, for companies, for estate settlements, for antique dealers, for surplus business equipment, for people moving out of state, for anyone downsizing a household, for elders moving to retirement communities, and for other "jobbers" who just wanted the stuff to go away. We currently have 4 storage warehouses, 6 full time and 5 part time employees and are always looking for more of both. We are sponsoring a "Antique and Appraisal Fair" at our Ventura Warehouse parking lot at 4475 DuPont Court, Ventura, on August 18th from 10-3. Our guest appraiser will be Elizabeth Stewart of Antiques Roadshow fame! The requested fee is $5 per appraisal and all profits from this event will be donated to Save A School Foundation.
