Call for Wind Beneath My Wings essays

The annual Wind Beneath My Wings Award honors a VCPWN member and the significant person in their life who has inspired, supported or motivated them in their life or career.  Members are invited to submit a brief essay (no more than 500 words please) about that indivual who helped them achieve their goals or was a motivating factor for them.Submit essays to Shirley Lorraine at slgumby@sbcglobal.net  - please put WBMW-VCPWN in the subject line. Winners must be a current VCPWN member and previous recipients are not eligible.    Deadline for submissions is August 31.  The award will be presented at the September general meeting.  Only one entry per person is allowed. To clarify - the person submitting the essay must be a current VCPWN member - the Wind person is generally not a member.  Previous recipients have honored husbands, mothers, friends and relatives.
